Fake Elytra
Fake Elytra changes the local appearance and displayed name of shears so they look like an Elytra while you play. The original server-side item remains untouched.

The mod replaces the item model, displayed name and related local presentation while preserving useful information such as the durability indicator. The effect can be enabled or disabled with one command.
Because the conversion is client-side, the server and other players still recognize the item as shears. It does not grant flight or create a real Elytra.

Before — Shears
The original item is still shears on the server. This shows the normal client-side name and item presentation before Fake Elytra is enabled.
After — Elytra visual
With Fake Elytra enabled, the same local item is presented as an Elytra with the Elytra-style name and enchantment lines shown in the tooltip.

What it does not do
